Welcome to the Salem Witches' Institute, the premiere American school of magic located within the World of Harry Potter. An original role play for creative minds.

    Petra nodded as Raven kicked off her spell. She had done well the year before and was still considering going out for dueling this year. Maybe doing well here will tell me if I'm ready, she thought.

    Waving her wand before her, Petra did a little step to the side and called out, "Protego!"

    Unable to get her shield up, Petra took Raven's spell hard. Her arm whipped back, her wand went flying, and she even fell to one knee. She sighed loudly as she crawled over to get her wand. "Damn good, Raven," she said. "However--" She whipped her wand out at Raven, giving it right back to her. "Expelliarmus!"

    Raven was absolutely thrilled when she was able to disarm Petra, but when she suddenly attacked her back, she attempted to hit her back. "Locomotor Mortis!"

    Still on the ground Petra felt her legs locked up as Raven got off another spell. Wow, she's pretty good, she thought. Better than I was when I started dueling class.

    Though she couldn't get up, she still had a free wand hand. She decided to throw out a bit of tit-for-tat. "Impedimenta!" she called, slashing with her wand.

    Raven was feeling pretty good that she was able hit Petra with two attacks, but at the same time, she felt bad that she hit Petra. Well, she's knows what she was getting into, she thought.

    As soon as Petra shot off an attack, Raven was ready. Not on my watch, I just hope my luck doesn't run out, Raven thought as lifted her wand, "Protego!"
